In six days you move through three of Uganda's most iconic landscapes — the chimpanzee forests of Kibale, the open savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the ancient rainforest of Bwindi. Day 1 — Transfer to Kibale Forest
Depart Entebbe/Kampala and drive southwest into the fertile foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive at Kibale,
check into your lodge, and settle in for what lies ahead.

Day 2 — Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland
Morning chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest — home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa. Track
habituated chimpanzee families through the forest with expert guides. In the afternoon, walk the Bigodi Wetland
Sanctuary — a community-owned reserve rich in bird life and colobus monkeys.

Day 3 — Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive south through the scenic Kasese corridor into Queen Elizabeth National Park. Afternoon game drive across the
Kasenyi plains — prime lion and elephant territory.

Day 4 — Kazinga Channel Cruise & Evening Game Drive
Morning at leisure before a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel — one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing experiences,
with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and hundreds of bird species lining the banks. In the evening, a game drive as the
light turns golden.
Day 5 — Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
Drive through Ishasha — the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth, famous for its tree-climbing lions lounging in
fig trees. Then continue into the highlands toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive and check in as the forest
settles into evening.
Day 6 — Gorilla Trekking & Departure
The journey ends with its greatest moment. After a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, enter Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest and track a habituated mountain gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour with them in their
natural habitat. Then begin the long but rewarding drive back to Entebbe/Kampala.
